Johnson and Didak

ok now u cant call me jumping on a losing team and saying the sky is falling.... we r winning.. but we wont come finals cause of didak johnson and davis the fact u boys rate them is a joke and i prob wont b seen on this site again cause u boys cant see it.. it is not all rosey at collingwood.. we have very good players. we have good ball winners profficient forwards but the 3 i named will NEVER perform in finals they dont win there own ball and johnson can not play.. running 10 metres forward of the ball for 30 touches (u didak) is useless.. and prob cya on nicks i hope im blatently wrong but wait till a prelim when our side falls apart

Wrong, Didak played a brilliant 2003 final series. Was one of our best on a very dour day.

I won't tell you off for this thread because most of the time it is probably correct. They do tend to sit off the pack and get fed the ball more often than not, however, yesterday I thought Didak played with a level of intensity and aggression at the ball that I have never seen from him. I think he may be realising that his influence on the contest has to be better if we as a team are to succeed. BJ looks good when the team is firing but isn't someone who can create a spark on his own. We can rely on Dids in finals but not sure about BJ.

If you have 21 inside players who are they going to get the ball to? You need a balance of inside and outside. Normally this is called a team.

Didak 2nd BOG after Swann y'day

Didak is taking the #1 tagger at he the moment and doing reasonably well, Johnson is being used as a defensive run with player and is doing ok, Leon is providing front end pressure and is doing well with setting up goals.

Thought Leon was going to ignite after kicking that goal. He's doing everything right but the magic just isn't there atm. It'll come, I sense it's only a goal or two away. Didak was heavily tagged, thought he was quiet early on but really came into the game and was in just about everything. BJ played his best game since returning, he needed to. Held their leading goalkicker and his kick ins were pretty spot on. Talwin, you will be proved wrong
