But surely we would fit more of us on an oval that at the Music Bowl....
Should Collingwood win the premiership, the team will be presented at the Bowl after the game.
On Sunday, the club will return to the venue for a family day, another alcohol-free event, between 10am and 3pm.
58,000 members and how many barracker's......how will we all fit if we win it???
Don't like our chance of getting from the ground if we win and getting a look in.....

it's a big area. how many do they get for carols? besides, many supporters will be at bbqs, pubs and elsewhere. i think we'll be ok and if not, just rip down the fences. _________________ Purveyor of sanctimonious twaddle. |

a truly ridiculous choice of venue. not big enough and a poor set up for such events. going to be absolutely chaotic |

It's a disgrace we're not celebrating at Vic Park. |

Obviously we'd celebrate at Olympic Park if the rebuilding were finished...but that'll have to wait until next year.
The Bowl is pretty good for lots of reasons:
Good location
Good viewing of stage area for the presentations
Ample toilets
Players and emergency vehicles have good access
And close to the city for the Collingwood Takeover after 10pm!

straight of facebook!
Victoria Park Stadium: Confirmed with Yarra City Council. Victoria Park is booked by the Collingwood Football Club for Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10:00am to 4:30pm and expecting 20,000 people. We are unsure which day/s will be utilised by the Club as Eddie McGuire is trying desperately to avoid having to go back ...to Victoria Park. We will keep everyone updated as soon as any more information comes to hand.
some one care to explain what is going on? |
