yeah good deal that I reckon, hope chipper does well at WC, better luck with injuries too! But Williams may be good for us, gives us even more flexibility!

I think c'wood's got the better end of this deal. I like chipper, but he only played 5 games this game, compared to williams' 21 games and 19 goals. williams also has greater versatility than chipper, being able to fill a number of roles. not quite as good as davis IMO but a good replacement, plus we only drop down a few notches in the draft

why the hell did WCE do this deal? was it homesickness?

JB75 - I think they did the deal for a number of reasons. They really only have two class on ballers, Cousins and Judd. All reports are that no matter what Judd is coming home next year. Plus if either get injured they have to through Wirrapunda on the ball. So Adkins is an insurance policy who will probably slip straight into their seniors. In addition Williams probably did feel it was time to come home he has been there for a few years.
I think MM may have even drafted him so there could be that connection as well.

We shall see what we shall see.
