5 goals to J.Brown in the first half.
Anyone reckon we'd be a better team if he'd accepted our offer a year or so ago? Wink

Port have kicked 3.11 to half time. Down 39.

Brent Harvey having an absolute day out against the Eagles - 40 touches. Roos will bounce back after their 100 point loss last week.

Interesting that we chased Brown and Fev was on the radar as well.

Half Time -
Brown 5.0
Fev 2.0

Last night Pies 4.17

20/20 hindsight - a wonderful thing.

Not sure about hindsight. We went hard after J.Brown, but he wanted to stay at Brisbane. It's not as if we decided not to get him. Fev's a different story, nothing like as good a player, and I never wanted him - see my sig Wink.

If we're just talking about accurate kicking, well, Jack's about as accurate as they come, our smalls are also all good kicks. The concerns of course are over Cloke and L.Brown. The former, for me, does enough right to still be played. Was good last night. The latter, is always a chance to be dropped, as he's played not for his output but his physical impact. If we have someone who we think can have a significantly enough better output, he'll be out.

On our kicking last night - not a lot of it was terrible shots. There were a number of rushed behinds, and a number of very difficult shots from the boundary, or some from long range. There were two absolutely crucial misses, from straight in front - Macaffer and Cloke in the third quarter, and one less crucial from McCarthy in the last when it was already pretty much over. Ball did miss a couple from about 45, not easy, but a good kick probably would have kicked both, or at least one.

premiership coach or not, worsfold is a hack. let harvey collect 44 possies without a tag all day (harveys pb & club's all time disposal record apparently). well done brad scott, first afl win as senior coach.

now can only hope the bombers spring an upset and knock off the filth tonight.

Carltons season is over.

They lost to Essendon by 20 points, HAHA.

Now they have to play;

Adelaide in Adelaide
StKilda
collingwood
Geelong
Port in SA
Hawthorn

They will be 1-8 after 9 games, LOL.

A good loss by the Blues. Heard they broke their record for most OOFs.
Bombers and Blues now both at 1-2.

Hoping for a Hawks win tomorrow over the Dogs, and for Adelaide to lose their 3rd straight against the Dees.

Demons are back!

Cut the margin to 5 against the Crows in the third quarter. Tipped 'em, would be great if they got up. Would almost be the end of any top 4 hopes the Crows may have had.

Edit: Just hit the lead. Up by 1.
