Leaving Las Vegas. Offbeat tragic love story about an alcoholic (Nicolas Cage) and a sex worker trying to make an unlikely relationship work out. It's depressing, but quite moving I found.

Last night I watched a Russian dubbed version of Kiki's Delivery Service with Ingmar and Lola. It's about a teenage witch who flies into a foreign city on her broomstick and ends up living above a bakery and running errands. Really fun and charming – probably one of the best kids' films I've ever seen!

not a bad movie, a bit depressing, and Elizabeth Shue doesnt get enough credit for her oh so out of her norm acting, shes brilliant in it.

gone in 60 sec and The Rock are better, but none compare to Conair, an absolute masterpeice!

We had an hour to kill in town today. Wandered into the DVD shop. Whoops!

Came out with Shrek, Doctor Zhivago, the three Lord of the Rings things, and ... really scraping the barrel here but WTF? ... a set of four Indiana Jones movies. Possibly others I forget.

Luckily, the chap from the car place rang to say the service was finished before we could get to The Sound of Music.

Phew!

Great call. Not the type of film I will re-watch but it's a very good film.

And agree with Elizabeth Shue's performance being excellent.

I still like the Indiana Jones movies.

Last night I watched Bloodshot. New Vin Diesel pic with Guy Pearce.

TP, this is your kind of movie. I really enjoyed it.

French remake of The Fly? Looks pretty nuts. I'll check it out. Same guy who directed this
