The 90s rewatch continues. Just watched Jim Jarmusch's Night on Earth from 1992. It's always interesting to experience a blast from the past but this wasn't essential. Most of the characters were more like caricatures. |

Yeah, that’s far from his best I reckon. Much prefer Stranger than Paradise and Down by Law, which I’m guessing you’ve seen? _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |

I saw them a long time ago and don't remember being particularly taken by them. My favourite Jarmusch films are Ghost Dog, Patterson & The Limits of Control. |

Interesting, you're more into the later ones! I did like Paterson, but must admit the other two didn't do much for me. The only one I haven't caught up with yet is his zombie comedy The Dead Don't Die – have you seen that one? _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |

Sean of the Dead is a classic and the only one I'd watch. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

Watching the original Mad Max on Foxtel. Shit Mel Gibson looks young. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

Both excellent films, as is everything made by Jarmusch, but I can't believe you didn't rate Night on Earth. It is hilarious and totally essential! _________________ kill for collingwood! |

I watched The eternals last night. I didn't get it, never read the eternals comic books, no frame of reference.
Action was good, some of the names were clearly rip offs from Greek mythology, funniest part for me was when it seemed the bloke named Ikaris seemed to fly off into the sun. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

My mum called me to tell me about it! I'm really pleased to see Derek getting this kind of publicity – hope it helps to keep the store afloat. _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |
