I'd be in tears if I was made to listen to it. We clearly have very different senses of humour because that was as funny as hand washing sheets.

Kind of surprised it doesn’t happen more often!

And Karen part 2

https://7news.com.au/lifestyle/health-wellbeing/bunnings-customer-melts-down-over-face-mask-requirement-because-it-doesnt-apply-to-her--c-1193956

And Karen part 3

https://7news.com.au/travel/coronavirus/woman-films-herself-refusing-to-wear-mask-in-victoria-shopping-centre-during-argument-with-police-c-1193426

Probably more appropriate for the WTF thread but so entitled and stupid they make you laugh!!

Where do these self entitled tools come from? They're all singing from the same song book, it's illegal, they don't need to produce ID, they film themselves then put it up on social media to show how clever they are.

^ I especially like the “ I do not consent” line - that’s an antivaxer thing isn’t it? Doesn't seem to work too well when you are under arrest Laughing Laughing Laughing

Sounds like the "sovereign citizen" garbage that has captured the hearts and minds (not a lot there to capture, I admit) of some people on the internet.

The first one sounds like some kind of sovereign citizen (like One Nation’s Malcolm-Ieuan: Roberts., the living soul). I’d expect these people would be well-versed in legal technicalities, but claiming gender discrimination? Come on. Laughing

A little (and I emphasize little) knowledge is a dangerous thing.

So Karen from Bunnings was arrested by two police officers in the Bunnings Narre Warren car park.

"After being handcuffed, the woman handed over a medical certificate to show she had an exemption from wearing a face mask.

When more officers arrived at the scene, the woman was removed from the cuffs but launched a debate with officers as to why her arrest was unlawful.

She claimed legislation in place allowing police to arrest her was not voted upon by Australians or approved by the monarch.

‘You’re talking about legislation that hasn’t been presented to parliament three times, we the people haven’t given our consent to act under it, and it hasn’t been consented by the queen,’ she says.

‘That legislation is fraudulent. It doesn’t apply to me.’

‘Legislation and acts can’t apply to living humans. They only apply to dead people.’

A friend posted the video so I can't link - but it here as well https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8560775/Bunnings-Karen-refuses-wear-mask-berates-innocent-workers-stores-policy.html?ito=social-facebook_Australia&fbclid=IwAR1fHTXCOTbIBef4Abz962gmuwrWEPZZRkZ2hjs_84vFDgA2T8sGRIZBEkw

What an utter fruitloop and what a complete and utter waste of police time - she should fined!

Idiots like that should be charged with being a public nuisance or something trivial that requires a court hearing, and then remanded in custody, no bail, just on pure principle.

I was going to say, sovereign citizens! Been seeing a few of their videos in recent times but now they are going to another level. Frustrating for the cops but bloody hilarious for the rest of us to watch.
