Daisy IS Overhyped by the Club

I Know this will tick some people off but it has to be said.

How the Club is making him look like a superstar but he is Not Performed because:

1:Not a Good Kick
2:Goes Missing in Games
3:Tries to hard

There are 3 Main Reasons.

it must be tough for a 21 yo [now 22] to be the face of the most publicised sporting club in australian. he is on a hiding to nothing.

as for your assertions, he probably does need to string together some four quarter games and perform across all four rather than be prominent in one or two.

i do think early in the piece we were spoilt by glimpses of what he is capable of and the flair he displayed. you can see he has a good leap and strong hands. to me he is in a consolidation phase and is doing the 1% things. as for trying too hard, sometimes the harder you try the worse it gets. going back to basics, not forgetting the fundamentals and what got you there in the first place is will benefit him greatly.

he reminds me of a child star the way he's been treated here... was all the hype as a teen and now at only 22 years old he's discarded to the side for the newer younger models Laughing

Agree he has Great Potential but need to see it more often in games

I agree that he is over hyped by the club.

Check out the Memorabilia on the clubs site...

There is 3 unframed posters of Dale but not one of medhurst (AA) or Swan or even our captain. There is also a framed one of Dale.

Dale is put on the footy show, has his own adds ect... posters begin put in the paper.

Yet TBH he is only just a starting 18 player.

I agree on all 3 of DTM statments
He has massive potential but fails to preform

hasnt come on as fast as pendles, so suffers by comparison.

also plays in a tough position, HFF.

Having said that, his does go missing, his conversion is suspect and i think he does need consistency.

Try too hard? im not sure how that is a negative. I prefer that to Cox, who can be lazy and uninterested at times. I always get the impression that daisy is trying. Determination gets you through when form deserts you DTM
