We'll miss Davis in the centre with Pendles out. We should win though, shouldn't we? |

Big concern. Not liking the look that gives our team at all. Seems very light on for midfielders and ball getters in general. We've lost two big possession quality midfielders in Pendles and Leon. Leon has been replaced with a skillful player in Medhurst, but he's not a midfielder. We've replaced Pendlebury with a tall forward who's not played a game all year in Dawes. Even Marty's omission becomes a worry, as it reduces our run, carry and ball getting ability even further. Goldsack does not offer as much in this area, even compared to an out of form Clarke.
Not saying we're going to lose, but I'm not as confident as I was, and am certainly not happy with the balance of our team. I'd have preferred the selection of pretty much any midfielder over Dawes - whether it was Cook, Barham, Stanley, even Sidebottom. Hope he goes well, but can not understand the selection. |

We should.
But it has been pointed out that we do have a habit of losing the ones we should win.
Interesting arvo coming up.

The two players that need to step up and become prime ball winners today are Wellingham and Thomas. With Leon and Pendles out, we need more from them than their usual ~15 disposals. _________________ Well done boys! |

Can't see it making much difference. Fremantle are far from fearsome once they cross the border. Pies by 70+ |

A great chance for Dale to show us what he's got today. Hasn't had a good year by any stretch, but I feel he's just that one magic performance away from getting back on track. Wellers hopefully continue his good form from last week.
Maybe Swanny can rack up 60 touches today!
