just announced that collingwood reserves will play tasmania in a practice game in march in tassie.
will keep you all posted on dates and venue i think it is sat march 15th.
i would presume it will be at north hobart oval or bellerive |

I'd be more excited if it was in Queenstown... I'd hope it would be held on the North-West Coast as that is the closest to where I live...but if it's in Hobart, I'll be there.
I may break out my old Collingwood flag and take it along...or my Glenorchy won with the Magpies on it....
Tassie are also playing Sydney...as well as an SANFL side.

yes we are helping out at the game where we can with assistance in the rooms before and after the game as well as others duties,drinks,food etc
will be contacted by the club the week before with flight details |

I have posted this info in the main forum as well.
Confirmed, just the two practice games.
Geelong at 12:00 this Saturday and on March 15th against Tasmania at North Hobart Oval at 12:00 also.
The rest will be intra club games.
Personally I think they will be seriously underdone when facing Port on March 29 and then we have to back that up with a trip to the not-so-friendly-anymore Burbank Oval.

Give them a game at the infamous Queenstown Oval, that'll get them into some shape. Tassie has had some good form in pre-season games, well last season they beat West Adelaide and the year before they smashed both Burnie and North Hobart.
So Tassie may give the Pies a bit of a work out, not saying they'll win after last seasons debacle and the season before...The Devil will want to impress supporters and Cresswell will be very hungry to turn around the Devils form.
Should be a good game....though just quietly I hope Collingwood smashes the Devils in the last quarter.
