Mrs WPT has been growing veges in straw bales and with the current Melbourne weather the veges are going gang-busters

Mrs WPT bought a new drill, said mine was getting a bit old (yes a Dad and an adolescent boys joke in one)

The reason being we were delivered a new chook house in 6 boxes. Chore for Monday as I’m working through the weekend. Lots of fertlizer for the garden and yummy eggs in the near future.

We used to keep chooks. When we shifted back to Melbourne in 1996 I drove the Kombi van with 4 chooks (each in its own box) the dog, the cats, the rabbit and the guinea pigs while Mrs WPT drove the station wagon from Yackandandah to Melbourne: a 4 hour tour, a 4 hour tour. Needless to say all the chooks laid an egg!

I didn't get the joke, but there's a woman up in Toc who does the straw bale veges.

I'm going to start finding reasons to be happy. Push a positive attitude. Some days are easy, some not and I can't get a handle on why. Take a hint from Bobby. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d-diB65scQU

His missus bought him a new long pointy tool because his is getting old?

I get the happy thing, and the wondering why. When your younger life looks endless, like tomorrow is never going to come. Getting to the age where parents are at their end, ive lost count of the 50-65 year olds I’ve known or know of who have passed away in the last few years, you start to feel your own mortality. And your body starts to quit on you, you can’t do things you used to. It can be depressing!

A gorgeous fragile 6 year old has made me realise how precious life is, no matter the struggles. She will forever have a piece of my heart, and right now I’m trying to give a little back to her mum and her sister. Making some memories for when they need them. For when I need them. But right now, I’m still hoping and even praying for a miracle.

Be happy Stu, look for the happy. It’s so worth it. Cheers

Yeah, the body starting to play tricks is a biatch. One day you're superhuman, next day you wake up to find things don't work.

Gotta work on this positive thinking, the other option is shotgun under chin.

Finally, after more than a year the oldest is going to be selling her clothes. She has soooooo many. Most stored on racks occupying some of our living area and some packed away. Thanks be the lord.

Because she works in retail she reckons she has to buy heaps etc. She finally learnt to budget properly about 2 years ago but the clothes like her two cars have been at our place.

She & Mrs WPT are off to the market at 5.30 am.

Very 😃 😃

having spent most of the weekend trying to not feel shit, decided to break it up this morning, change the routine, took the old girls car for a drive to the Camberwell market. Haven't been there for ages.

Found the sausage van, had a bratwurst instead of a Debriciner but still with English mustard and sauerkraut. Not the smartest decision when chewing on both sides hurts (Dentist Thursday) but taste was worth it.

Picked up an old antique Barometer made by Lufft in Germany for $20, take it up to the joint in Toc next weekend. Checked online, can't find one exactly the same as mine has a curved mercury thermometer in the bottom of the face, but still looks like I made money on the deal.

Exercises seem to be working on the shoulder, paracetamol and ibuprofen for the mouth, feet working at about 90-95% and mood at around 70%. Time to get dinner on, the daughter and her GF will be here at 6, I gave the son the night off as he's been up in Toc with his GF and 3 kids under 5. I think he needs a night off.

Don't even get me started on bodies not working as they should. I've had a fairly serious health issue since last October, still trying to figure out exactly what's going on - many blood tests, MRIs, ultrasounds, specialists etc. Still no conclusion Twisted Evil

Saw that on the news. NFI why someone would do that. Yeah, it's a $90k electric vehicle, are you pissed off because it's a $90k car or because it's electric or both?

Good luck with it. Don't rule out that it may be more than 1 cause, with different symptoms being caused by different things which is why looking for a single cause is difficult.

Wow, space in the living area and one of the bedrooms. The oldest did well at the Market, I box of clothes to be donated.

The play last night was OK not great. I’ve got a decent strike record with picking decent plays; lowered the average a bit. Acting was terrific but it wasn’t all that entertaining. Could be me, I was up early after a late shift & MRs WPT was up even earlier.....them’s the breaks.

This week we’re off to the Malthouse which should be a lot better to see “The importance of being earnest” : at least you know the play is a good one
