Nicks Bulletin Board - 2007 Player Sponsorship

Hi all,

Calling for everyones contribution as to who you feel Nicks should sponsor next year. There was a previous thread concerning this issue and things seemed to have gotten out of control a little. A big thank you (and this is not a condacending thank you) but a genuine thank you to those who have organised the player sponsorship in the past. (I believe Marg Oz will still be involved, please PM me id not Marg)

This post will be stickied till the End of Next week (9.12.06) and all posts in this thread should only contain a vote for the person you are willing to sponsor and how much you are willing to pledge, please leave personal opinions and comments to yourself concerning your choice. If you do vote for a player I will contact you via PM with some further instructions and ask for additional information, a to why you think Nicks should sponsor the player you voted for and how much you would be willing to pledge towards your selected player etc.....If the result is not enough to ensure sponsorship, then Nicks will simply have no sponsored player for 2007.

MargOz, who is running the sponsorship (I was running it with her) is back at the end of this week.

Marg has requested that this be put on hold until she is back at the end of the week.

I will forward the details that I had from all the others that had said they would be in it to Marg, and those that have said who they would sponsor.

Delete this post as you will - but it would be nice to at least acknowldege the work that Jac (Proud Pies) with MargOz has put into arranging and ensuring the sponsorship of Nick Maxwell by Nicks for the last few years has happened

I suggest a poll:-
1) I will contribute for Nick Maxwell, but no-one else
2) I will contribute for John Anthony, but no-one else
3) I prefer Nick Maxwell, but will happily contribute for another player
4) I prefer John Anthony, but will happily contribute for another player

That will identify those tied to a particular player, and those prepared to put money towards the club regardless.

Personally, I'm happy to indicate a preference, but I'm also equally happy to let those putting in the hard yards of organising thing to choose the player.

You wonder why anyone would volunteer for anything these days...

I certainly appreciate all the hard work and hours put into organising this sponsorship. So big thank you to Jacqui and Marg.
