Herald Sun - Scott Gullan
"One Magpie definitely on the move is midfielder Heath Scotland, with the Pies entertaining a swap to the Kangaroos in exchange for their second-round pick (No. 24). "

Is a dead-set fact? If it is, I would imagine we would be trying to offer a team pick 24 and a player for a first round draft pick to satisfy Port (with 2 first round picks).

I agree.... but I think the only reason something like this would be done is to offer to port.... I am really disappointed if it is the deal done... Heath is a very good player... BUT as I have said before maybe it will be the best thing for him.

On the Stevens side of things.... I think this is a sign that he may well very soon be a magpie!!!

that deal in the paper better not be true as Scotland is worth a bit more than that. The Kangaroos think they can offer garbage and get good players in return. Do they think clubs feel sorry for them or something.

I believe "entertaining" means thinking/considering it...

No deals were complete yesterday, so nothing is set yet.

That's not the best trade. A pick around 20 last year brought us Bo Nixon who has a very long way to go. And from all reports this draft is thin.

If we are going to trade with North then we should try to grab Digby Morell or Harris instead.

It's unlikely Port would take picks 17 and 21 (or whatever it is) for Stevens anyway.
