Been linked with Richmond; whether any deal can be agreed on that is another matter. We could do lot worse but less of a priority than a reasonable quality tall forward.

1.6 mill over 4 years... 400,000 a year is bloody ridiculous money for a guy like solomon. no club with any serious talent can compete with that kind of bullshit. Richmond are trying to buy themselves some credibility... in the end it could well hurt them for years. Well here's hoping anyway.

O we're from Tigerland

I'm with you Cam. Stuff Soloman. He is as slow as a wet week and since his knee injury he has lost penetration in his quicking as well as turning the pill over as much as Lica use to.
I really think his toughness is a fallecy too. Anyone can go around belting blokes when they can't get the footy. Some of his cheap shots last year cost Essendon and thats why they were not keen on keeping him.

We don't need a Stevens or a Soloman. We have plenty of those type players.

What was evident in the GF this year and last year was the fact that we were killed in the Ruck department.

So I say forget these hacks and go after a good solid ruckman.

I thought Josh was best on ground for us on grand final and with richards and walkers development we will have a suitable ruck division

As for soloman he is rough and tough and suites our game plan perfectly also isn't he and taz best mates???

Molloy was rough and tough but he didn't fit into the game plan. Same pace, similar size. We need a ruckman. Josh was killed in the centre square where it really counted. Around the ground Josh was heroic but Keating and Charmain proved the value of big strong ruckman in the centre square. Go after Allan. Richards is a fair while off yet.

Soloman is not worth the money he is asking. $400.000 a year is bull-shit.
Let him go to Richmond and join his mates Nathan 'money bags' Brown and Matthew 'I don't really enjoy playing footy' Richardson.

Tazza believe me what I have said in no way reflects upon Fraser. He showed us all year how courageous he is. My point is that he can't do it alone.

We need another ruckman. I reflect upon the Peter Moore days when I see Fraser. However, Moore always had back up ruckmen. Josh loves moving forward and I believe we should continue to strengthen him in this area.

But let's face facts. On Gf day the dual Lion rucks ran through him and bashed him around the ground.
I would just hate to see him be all used up in a matter of a few years just because of mis-management.
Get another Ruckman to assist him. ROCCA IS NOT THE ANSWER.

Isn't soloman in london on vacation? and wheres collingwod..oh london Smile also he is mates with tarrant personally i would love him at the club give the team a bit of grunt and also Essendon didn't want to get rid of him they couldn't afford what he was asking. thing is i would rather keep the pick 17..but thats just me i like the young kids rather than drafting older players

Peter Moore hmmm. I was watching a match on the footy marathon with Collingwood v North in 1977 GF. Back then we had Thompson and Moore in the same team? Somehow we managed to go through that era without a flag. Upsetting and disturbing. I`m glad I had only just debuted in this mortal coil back then otherwise I'd be a fully fledged and certified head case by now.

Is Jeff White Available????

I agree with bwphantom, we need a ruckman...although Fraser improved we wont get the best out of his ruck work for some years to come...

What happens if he gets injured?? Walker in the ruck assuming Mckee is not around?? What a scary thought!
