Goodes and Eddie should just resolve this issue like they do in Sydney - down in the gutter like Packer and Gyngell, gouging and biting.
My bet is that Eddie would win with an old fashioned Broady squirrel grip. |

I have no idea whether or not he was already being considered beforehand. Considering the number of sportspeople who've been given the award, it's hardly surprising that an AFL footballer of his stature and experience should be put forward, even if what happened hadn't.
That's all conjecture. Personally, I'm perfectly happy for the incident to have been taken into consideration when he was chosen for the honour. What he did was brave and necessary, and his response in the aftermath was gracious and reasonable. That may not be a popular view here, but that's how I see it. |

Perhaps the tribunal can suspend Adam Goodes until he becomes Eddie's friend again.
We should decide who are Adam Goodes's friends and the circumstances in which he makes them

Goodes is a complete scumbag self absorbed twat.
He is lucky he does not play in spain where bananas are thrown, that is disgusting and he destroyed a 13 year old girl for an unintended mistake.
The guy plays as a thug on the field and wants to act as everyone's moral compass. He has made a mockery of the Australian of the year award |

Well Richmond are already trying to decide on who some are friends with, so might as well make it a rule in the AFL and if they're friends with the wrong person suspension.
