Cunnington can play anywhere, that's why he's a steal at 900k a year, and he only wants 5 years guaranteed |

Jack Viney?
If he said he wanted to come to us, anyone that says he wouldn't fit in clearly has no idea.
He's a gun and an immediate upgrade on all of our current mids, bar Adams. |

Magpies have shown interest in fringe medium Saint forward Matthew Parker with the attitude of fiery Pepper Steak and would swap out of favour winger Tommy Phillips in a straight swap.

Anyone know why Phillips is out of favour? _________________ Don't confuse your current path with your final destination. Just because it's dark and stormy now doesn't meant that you aren't headed for glorious sunshine! |

Yeah, I call bullshit on this.
Phillips has played all 15 games this year until injured and has played 70 consecutive games. Not what I would call out of favour. |

When guys like Kent and Hind are getting a game in front of Parker, I’m not sure what he is expected to bring to the table at Collingwood.
I’d rather roll the dice on a speculative tall at pick 70 in the draft ( cheaper too ) |

I think swapping Jake Kelly for Scharenberg is an idea. Not essential, but a like-for-like player with the move helping both players get to their home state and offering a fresh start. Does anyone think the 'Berg can become a mainstay in our team again? Maybe I'm being blinded by the idea of reuniting the Kelly gang.
If by some miracle we were able to sign Viney as a free agent, I would look to trade Sier if we aren't already. With Essendon keen, we'd probably look at a draft pick unless we tried to get Francis or Saad, who'd cost a bit more.
Hogan is a FF option that might come a bit cheaper. Wright is a player we should target to take over from Cox. Tom McDonald is another interesting one to think about. I'm not overly interested in Ben Brown, but would like to know what he costs.
Rookie List ideas:
McCarthy if the club believes he can offer us something.
McCartin if the club honestly believes he has no chance of damaging his brain.
With Melbourne so desperately wanting to be like Collingwood for the past 20 years, I'd like to see the club poach some of their players. Viney (FA) and McDonald (Trade) would be a nice start.

No, Scharenberg is depth for our depth. Hopelessly slow. If we can get anything for him, great - but I'd be very surprised. |

There’s a bit on Checkers (SEN) negotiations stalling and a “below par offer” to Brody as they look to lock away Moore and De Goey _________________ I'm not arguing--just explaining why i am right |
