To be honest I'd rather hoped that we might have seen something other than indefinite for Scharenberg by now.

OK substitute for "indefinite" the word "season". Is that better? Shocked

Last I heard from Nate he was hoping to play VFL by the end of May but prefaced it by saying if everything goes right from now on.

Find it strange that Rocket doesn't mention Ben Reid in his audio update on injuries.

Scharenberg: I think as he eases back into training they are just keeping a eye on it and seeing how it comes along, making sure there is no set backs.

Freeman: Think its a typo, supposed to read two to three months! Worst hammy in history the way its going. Probably tendon trouble and he may have nicked it off the bone.

Reid will need at least one if not two games at VFL level to get a bit of match conditioning and touch you'd think.

Fasolo is a bit of a concern as hope its not another serious foot issue or a complication.

Sam Mitchell just done a hammy. Is a tendon injury like the club said Freemans was and is listed as 8 weeks.
Freemans a first year player. 8 for a seasoned bet who knows his body is 10 to 12 for a first year player.
Not like we r short of Mids. Need Reid back to see a few games with him at forward to see how it fits in with our structures.

Blokes like Reid, Freeman, Oxley and Scharenberg will need a few games at VFL level to gain fitness and touch so until they run out with the VFL the time they're listed to miss is irrelevant.

I used to be undecided, but now I'm not so sure.

Freeman has a hamstring tendon injury. Similar to what Sam Mitchell has just been diagnosed with. He has been ruled out for 8 weeks. Freeman is young. There is no rush.

Not happy about Gault being out for so long, may be the end of him. I still had hopes for him.

Not sure about that it's a broken collarbone better than knee or shoulder

If we had seen at the time of injury that Reid potentially out for half a season, we all would have called it the season, but alas we have all survived.

Watched Eade injury wrap last night on CTV. Basically mentioned that Fas, Toovs, Young, Dwyer and Maxy will be fit for selection for the game in Adelaide.

For memory there was no mention of Ben Reid. I hope Reid is right to go after they bye and this doesn't turn out to be another Dayne Beams "nick", it's been 10 weeks since his injury now.

Radio 927, Matt White, reported this morning Reid has re-injured his calf and is another month away.

Yep its another Beams all over again, if they are saying a month you know it will be at least 2.

The positive is we pump more games into the Grundy/Witts combination

Surely Reid is available for selection now?
