Steele reminds me of Diesel Williams. Not quick but reads the play better than anyone. Clean disposer and a big game player.
When he gets stronger, he will be impossible to push off the ball because he has such good balance.
He needs a few more kgs to improve his one on one marking but that will come with time.

Said that last year and still stand by it, Steele will be a champion of the game by the time he retires.

I believe so, though it was also the moniker of an Australian PM of the not too distant past was it not?

Harley and brereton cost me money. Same of those dopes who robbed last year when I backed harry Taylor at 80-1. They should bring in each way betting or keep the judging simple. 3 judges is enough.

I'm predicting Harry will move to a wing next year with Tarrant back at the club

Interesting suggestion, Rick, it really is and sounds good in theory. But who goes out?

Of the senior side?

From the premiership side - Goldsack, Blair, MacCaffer & even Beams I would say they aren't certain starters every week. Even Ball will probably be eased through the year

Harry to the wing will be a horses for courses proposition

I'm loving how Steele Sidebottom is playing at the moment. He's been the most consistent player all season and I've been somewhat surprised by how much he's improved from 2011. I love the fact that he's stepping up in the absence of other players who have sustained injuries throughout the season so far. This kid is going to be a gem when he is in the age bracket of 23 to 25.

Great recruiting by Derek Hine to snap this kid up at pick 11. In the same draft Melbourne picked Jack Watts.Laughing

Has Steele Sidebottom become our 3rd best midfielder for the club behind Swan and Pendles?

Is he favourite for the Copeland at the moment?
