Interesting. Not a KPP I would have thought, even though he's 192 cm, 99 kg & played in a key back position before. Can be hard at it & has some good skills but does not fill a void IMO by having Marsh, Brown & Frost depart.
In racing parlance: prefer others although TIGSM _________________ “I even went as far as becoming a Southern Baptist until I realised they didn’t keep ‘em under long enough” Kinky Friedman |

Well that would just HEAP the pressure on Mitchell [V2], and potentially O'Meara to deliver the goods in 2017.
How funny would it be having Vickery up forward and no arsehole to pump the ball to him!

Great and we got Mayne ! |
Yep, that's what happens when you panic-buy in week one of the trade.
Although he is still contracted to Whoreks for 2017.
No that contracts count for shit anyways.... |
Lewis is a trade, and will cost draft picks and cash.
Mayne only cost us cash.
Hardly a panic buy. IMO we took the two best available free agents that filled needs at our club.
We cant moan all year about Blair and then complain when we upgrade him (moderately) to a guy who can just walk to the club. |
Exactly. Great pickup to replace Blair. _________________ Buon Giorno |

Weds/Thurs shaping as very busy... I imagine when some of the bigger deals get done, the flood gates will open as other trades will be dependent on picks received in those... any heel dragging and not all of them can get done! |

Well that normally happens. 1 of the Big Trades get done then a lot of Smaller Trades Happen.

Correct and likely to get the OK as well. There still looking for cap space to fit the new players in.
Reportedly O'Meara knocked back $950k next season to stay at Suns so I would guess he will be rewarded handsomely at the Hawks maybe not to the same level but would have to be $750k you would expect. If it's not and its a shite load less then the AFL need to look into draft tampering by the Hawks.
I said in 2012 he would go to the Hawks they had there eye on him then. He would have been there this year except for his knee issues. |
Who's taking the piss? $950k for someone who hasn't played a game for two years. $750k is still ridiculous and I can't fathom anyone stupid enough to pay that. Good luck to him if it's even close to that, surely not. God no wonder we weren't interested if this is what he has asked for. |
Andrew Hamilton from the courier Mail reported this a couple weeks ago when he nominated the hawks. I never said he was worth that just saying that's what he reportedly walked away from |

Thing is, the Hawks are a bit less attractive and probably winning less without Mitchell and Lewis, and Hodge on a one year deal. _________________ Get back on top. |

I wasn't having a crack at you, I was giving a crack at the journo who reported this figure. I believe it's to scare every one off, it hasn't scared Essendon off though. This could get interesting. All for someone that has played a couple of reserve games in 2 years.
Could be a jet or it could be a big bust. I hope for his sake he does get back, we need to see the best playing. _________________ "Still waiting for your call Caroline ... not a quote in sight. Don't ever presume to speak on Collingwood's behalf," |
