We won ugly and should finish top 4.

A top 4 spot is secured. We can't miss now.

Well there is a way, albeit unlikely ...

It begins with A and ends with A.

I believe that 2 game day positives triggers team penalties.

Interesting that the two last premiership teams have finished with a 15-7 H&A record.

Western Bulldogs (2016) = 15-7 (7th) - 115.4%
Richmond (2017) = 15-7 (3rd) - 118.3%

Collingwood (2018) = 15-7 (2nd-4th) - 120.4%

Its a sign!!

and I gotta say...

SIER

how the #$# does a kid come in and look like he's played 150 games. I credit Pendles for imparting some of his matrix composure to our other mids.

We had No Right winning that Game. Out Played just about the Whole Game.

Freo lost that game. We did not win it.

Great to Finish top 4 and most Likely finish 4th.

I am scared what Richmond will do to us in the QF

Dave, I'd actually prefer to play Richmond at the G, than have to travel to that shit ground again. I could hardly believe it - a brand new stadium and they couldn't design it so the sun doesn't shine directly in the player's eyes!!! Just dumb!

Numerology won't get us anywhere! But, yes, it's a sign --- a sign that we are in an AFL Window of Mediocrity. Better grab the opportunity while the window's still open.

Collingwood dont have the cattle to win the flag from here though.

Neither did the Bulldogs really.

The Bulldogs lost their final match to Fremantle (in Perth) in 2016 before going on a unprecedented finals run.

I feel like I almost died and then came back to life. My old heart can’t take too much of games like that. It was a scrappy game today but I am so proud of the team for the season they have goven us this year. Despite a year beset with injury setbacks they have prevailed to finish in the top 4 with a double chance. No matter what happens from here they have done us all proud. We have cheered on our usual champions, watched the career of the best ruck in the AFL unfold, unearthed some amazing new talent including the 2018 rising star, at least in my eyes. We have much to be happy about. Go you mighty magpies.

Love this post! I am so very, very happy that we get to see our beloved Pies play TWICE more this year!!!

As Magirl says, it's been a truly amazing performance from all concerned so far - Bucks, the other coaches and the players to all fight on through injury adversity. And Nick Maxwell!! To me, it's no surprise that we are playing with such G and D with him back in the fold.
