^^^ At 2010 GF 1, I was surprised and somewhat bemnused by the extent to which the 'Aints supporters found the strength to get excited every time a Collingwood player made a mistake but didn't get nearly as animated in support of their OWN team's (admittedly only very occasional) good play.
I really don't want to spend the rest of the season having to listen to Collingwood supporters in Level 2 of the Ponsford abusing Cloke. It sort of defeats the purpose of not barracking for the 'Aints. |

^ Yeah. As far as I'm concerned, jeering at Cloke as long as he plays for us is the same as jeering our team; and if you're doing that, why bother even turning up? _________________ "Every time we witness an injustice and do not act, we train our character to be passive in its presence." – Julian Assange |

I totally agree David. As hard as it is knowing that he may be leaving the club, I'll never boo him until he isn't wearing a Collingwood jumper. I think the act of booing your own player is childish and moronic to be honest. Support all players wearing the black and white whether it is Travis Cloke, Simon Buckley or whoever. _________________ Living in Geelong, barracking for the 'pies! |

Thankfully at this stage there is only 22 people who will be booing Travis compared to the thousands who will turn up to support the club. I couldn't bring myself to Boo a Collingwood player running on to the ground for us. _________________ Bring Back Tranquilli |

Silence would be better anyway. Booing will only serve to make the Clokes believe they are making the right decision. |
This is actually a really good idea. Imagine at the G, 70k plus and Cloke kicks a call. No cheering, just an erie silence. I think that would speak volumes for the way people are feeling. |

How can a supporter boo their own player? What? Put yourself in the shoes of the player. Would you want to stay? _________________ Magpies love pies(Lol) |

I don't see him as a Pies player anymore.
I won't boo as I think it be just Silly but I want people's Thoughts on it,
People will boo Cloke |
I think you made a typo here DTM - I think you meant to say "idiots" will boo Cloke
He is still a Magpies player - he is important to our team and until such time as he actually goes he deserves our support. _________________ I think therefore I think - I think |

Ain't going to happen, because at least a decent proportion of the crowd aren't juvenile nitwits.
I'll be cheering twice as hard when Cloke does something good from now on. _________________ "Every time we witness an injustice and do not act, we train our character to be passive in its presence." – Julian Assange |

While he's wearing black and white I won't boo him, but I no longer feel positive towards him so will not cheer or clap. Regardless of where his contract stuff goes, he's already been a big disappointment to me in the cavalier way he and his old man have arrogantly sought ridiculous financial rewards. He has clearly shown he does not care for the health of our club or our list. Shame on you Travis. |
