Good fit in my view.
Would also reunite Big Jez and Little Jez. (Witts and Blair) _________________ A Goal Saved Is 2 Goals Earned! |

He was cooked a few years ago.
Personally I am glad he has been delisted.
It is a tough existence being an AFL player.
I think Jarrod played about a 100 more games than what would have been expected.
For any player to make 158 games is an outstanding achievement. |

I guess everyone could see it coming. Jarryd himself in a Herald Sun article says that he was anticipating it. He is always a Collingwood Premiership legend, and has always played with immense courage and effort. congratulations to him for a fine career, and i hope that he can continue his career elsewhere, as he wishes to do. _________________ Free Julian Assange!!

I feel sorry for him because up till the last season or two, he had to sacrifice his game to play solely as a small defensive forward. That’s not his game. He needs to spend time in the midfield rotations to be at his best and when he does he’s a really effective player because he’s much more a footballer with exquisite skills, than an athlete. Has always been in our best players at VFL level. With Beams returning we don’t have the list placings to carry Blair any more. However thinking about it, teams like GCS could do a lot worse than play a guy like Blair. |

His endeavour was never questioned .
Each game he played he willed himself to give 100%.
He played in a Collingwood winning Grand Final.
He was is and will always be a champion of the CFC.
If you go to another club they will be fortunate to have a person of your character . _________________ THERE IS NO SHADING IT IS AS PLAIN AS BLACK AND WHITE THAT THERE IS ONLY BLACK AND WHITE |

Well done Blairy on a great career. Played over 150 games at the top level.
You will always be remembered as a Collingwood immortal, one of the 42 premiership players in my lifetime. |

A bloke who has got the most out of himself as a footballer. Seems a nice guy from the very limited interaction that I have had with him. Clearly a twinkle in his eye with the recent arrival of his child too.
Good luck to him, whether that is on an AFL list or back at my old club Heidelberg as he and his brother are being linked.
Thank you Jarryd Blair. _________________ One team, one dream - the Pies and this year's premiership |

A Collingwood Premiership Player; not too many of them getting around.
Agree with the earlier post about Blair being better in the middle than up forward; the well noted team tendency to kick to him on the lead like he was the second coming of Dermie didn't do him any favours either _________________ "The last thing he expected WAS THE FIRST THING HE GOT!!!!!"
