In 3 home and away seasons, he had a good one (17 and 5) and two nondescript ones (21 wins in 44 games). He won 1 final out of 3. It hardly screams "Hire me!" |

This Sanderson thing, if true, isn't really that surprising, at least to those who have been paying attention. Buckley openly said two years ago when Sanderson got his pink slip from Adelaide that he would either make room or make up a role for him if the football department spending cap would allow it (he's been hamstrung on that front by Pert and McGuire).
Channel 7 tonight reported that Sanderson would be coming in as a "senior assistant coach" which, co-incidentally, is also Robert Harvey's title. Is Banger getting the arse?
Regardless, I'm not sure adding yet another Buckley mate to the current crew of Buckley mates is a recipe for success, Sanderson's coaching resume aside... _________________ I am vengeance. I am the night. I am MagpieBat. |

^ which of course assumes that being on friendly terms with Bucks somehow diminishes the coaching capacity of the individual in question and we know this because.... oh that's right, footy forum speculation. |

It's about as valid as assuming that being someone's best mate somehow enhances one's coaching ability.
So, what are we doing here again...? _________________ I am vengeance. I am the night. I am MagpieBat. |

Geelong Advertiser interveiw.
Brenton Sanderson on why Crows sacked him
I couldnt deal with variety of staff
And had trouble handling individuals
due to not promoting a two way communication
Instead of listening I did a bit too much telling

Next thing you know we will be having Jett Buckley as the mascot and Mrs Pert educating staff on equal opportunity.
Oh .. wait a minute !! |
One of these days I might actually read something positive from you about the Club, but I wont hold my breath. _________________ Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor, but because we cannot satisfy the rich.

I thinknk he should be an upgrade on Harvey or lappin, though I can see the argument that appointing your best mate is always a bit of an iffy gambit. _________________ Two more flags before I die! |
