Haven't seen enough of the blews to make any proper prediction. Again we have an unsettled team, which is a worry. Not thrilled with White returning and I think Moore should've made way for Cloke's return. Apart from a few glimpses of brilliance he has given us very little in the last few games. Well done to Crocker, haven't seen much but from what I have he looks very lively.

Cloke needs another week or two in the ressies to make him absolutely filthy and angry so he plays like a man possessed when he is recalled to the seniors. This spell in the VFL is designed to be the only one he ever has. I see him back for the Cats game.

Any match, now, Darcy will get more than 7 kicks - and just about then, it might be appropriate to treat his inclusion at Cloke's expense as something other than ritual humiliation for a great servant of the Club.

Well, I say "any match" but really, the stats say that Moore has done it once in 15 games. The "development slope" seems to be much longer for some "prospects" than others. Anyway, let's hope he dominates and has an 8-kick match, today.

That's probably a better call than the "Dale Thomas to kick 5" call we had earlier in the week. At least Cox has done it once, even if only at VFL level.

Definitely a danger game if we dish up what we produced in the first and last quarter last week. If we play like we did in the second and third quarter last week we should win with relative ease.

Carlton's got massive issues with scoring but they're 6th in points conceded this year so under Bolton they're a much improved defensive team.

Not happy that we dropped Brown for White. Brown was outplayed by Kennedy last week but it seems like a knee-jerk reaction from the coaching panel that he's been dropped. I think we're forgetting that Kennedy is a premium forward and one of the best in the competition and for the whole match Brown was left on him when it was evident early in the match that it wasn't the right match up.

I've heard White has been reasonable in defence in the last few weeks at VFL level but I worry about his inclusion. If we cut off the supply of Murphy, Gibbs and Cripps in the midfield then the march could be won right there.

God forbid we lose, but I back us to win by 3/4 goals today.

At the game and I'm nervous.

They have Murphy Gibbs and Thomas playing well and cripps back.if our yong midfield lets the bloos on top its going to be hard work.

What works in our favour is their backline is worse than ours and we have 2 tall forwards who can kick straight.

Faz to kick 5 and cox 4. Pies by 28

Good summary Stui.

Although, I don't agree with you that Carlton's defence is worse than ours. Individually, they have ordinary players in defence, but structurally they've been one of the better defensive teams under Bolton. The forward line is their major problem at the moment and their inability to kick big scores.

If we allow the struggling Blues attack to notch 100+ points then it's close to curtains for the current coaching staff.

No late changes and the Cloke rumour must have come from David Cloke.
