Very harsh. Was being touted as an AA very recently. If he's carrying something well and good give him a rest. If not, I don't see dropping him to the magoos will promote his development nor boost his confidence. |
There is something not right with Elliot for sure _________________ I am Da Man |

I should add that dropping someone who actually kicks straight for goal given his teammates diabolical performance last night doesn't seem smart. _________________ Four legged animals good, two legged animals better |

Staggered to see suggestions of Witts and Elliott being dropped.
Elliott has been off the boil but is dangerous in the air and simply needs a couple of opportunities near goal to make an impact. He is a clean finisher and we have too few as last night reiterated.
i don't think we need Witts and Grundy. Both have been good. A shame that Grundy hurt himself as he was one of the big improvers vs 2014.
I too thought Blair was very good when he came on. Again, can hit kick goals when he gets the opportunity. As the Hawks showed, it makes a massive difference if you can convert your opportunities - Rioli & Bruest the best examples last night.
Nice to give Maynard and Moore a taste. I'd drop Maynard for Greenwood and move Oxley down back. Otherwise I think I would leave things as is.
Broomhead shows enough for me to persist. De Goey likewise. _________________ One team, one dream - the Pies and this year's premiership |

Moore should not have got a game in front of Grundy, selection committee cost us the game!
In Greenwood, Grundy, Schanerberg
Out Moore, Maynard, Broomhead ( too soft ) _________________ There is Collingwood and then the rest. |

Yep, those are the changes for me. Moore's time will come soon enough. _________________ I hold a cup of wisdom, but there is nothing within. |

Greenwood isn't playing in the reserves today due to soreness so forget about him playing against Port. _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023 | |

Thursday game in Adelaide ... possible he is just being held over if they think he has enough game time into him. I would have expected him to play a half today at least. _________________ All We Can Be |

With Greenwood apparently unavailable, that might open up a spot for Seedsman's return if he plays well in the VFL today. He should be in our best 22 if he works hard enough. |

I do think Grundy, Greenwood and Reid will all be in strong contention if they play well against Sandringham. |
Reid isn't playing mate. |
Neither is Greenwood. |

Only a 5 day break between today's VFL game and the Port game so you'd imagine that anyone being considered would not play most of the 2nd half. That should give us a few clues. |

In fact, both should debut in the coming weeks.
Scharenberg has elite skills, as you would expect for a kid who was tipped to go #2 in the draft before his foot injuries.
Marsh is simply an athletic freak that has massive upside. |
Ultimately Toovey shall make way for Scharenberg if we were to pick a best 22. Despite his closing speed Toovey, Alan simply can't hit 20 metre targets! _________________ I love the Pies, hate Carlscum |
