I hope that all of you it actually means something to enjoyed the day and got what you wanted from it !

Now bring on 2015 cause that is us going to see the Mountain Gorillas of Rwanda and Uganda and to quote the Pointer Sisters " I'm so excited"!!

He did indeed. Smile We didn't buy him anything, but our housemate got him some pants and a little suit with reindeers. We just gave him lots of kisses.

Merry Christmas all. I was on the good list.

My family is not religous at all, we just have our own traditions. So had my kids and their partners up at mums house for Christmas day. Daughter had to leave before lunch but that was cool.

I did the turkey again but mum helped and she has able to do lots more in the kitchen before she got too wound up and I had to banish her.

Great day.

Yes, Merry Xmas! My favourite cutural time of the year. Have a great one with your families and enjoy the many Aussie blessings in which you partake!

(Mugwump, look out the window and rejoice - 'tis a full moon in a clear English sky!).

This happened 101 years ago today:

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christmas_truce

On the one hand, it's remarkable that people could put their guns aside for a day to be nice to each other (and that's just in the Victoria Park Tavern!). But it sort of makes you wonder why they couldn't be as nice on the 364 other days of the year.

Anyway, merry Christmas everyone. Smile

Amen to that. Merry Christmas to everyone from an unseasonally warm London.

Merry Christmas to all.

I'm at work left early & at work by 7 am - oh the traffic a dream run.

Someone called in sick for later today. I was hoping to leave early to go to X'mas at my wife's nephews place in Mt Evelyn & catch up with family & friends there.

Can't do it now as no one wants to work today at short notice. No extra for X'mas apart from the usual double time.

I'll probably be working back till about 6 pm tonight Sad

On the other hand, that will be an 11 hour shift paid at double time which if I had the choice I would prefer not to do (well I do have the choice but I won't leave the place without staffing)

Merry Christmas, to all, and a very happy and safe new year.

Another quiet Christmas, which is great after the other couple before it having some really horrible things happen. Though sadly my uncles shed was the victim this year of some fires from bad neighbours. Sad

2016 promises to be such a great year though, so much happening, new study, setting up the radio, and hopefully more. Smile
