From The Age

Quote:

The 17-month drugs probe into Essendon Football Club has climaxed following the preparation of a slew of show cause notices for players by the Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority.

Neither Essendon players nor the AFL have received any notification from ASADA that outlined alleged anti-doping rule breaches, but Fairfax Media established that the issuing of numerous notices was set to occur simultaneously.

A total of 34 notices will be issued to players, querying the use of the peptide thymosin. It is understood the show cause notices do not concern the use of the controversial anti-obesity drug AOD-9604.

I'd like to know how'll they'll play against dogs on sunday- considering we play the dogs not the dopers!!

Yeah, I noticed that too. Typical Herald Sun with concise factual reporting. Rolling Eyes

Caro wouldn't have timed her story to deflect from the Essendon notices?

I don't think so, she's been on their case since this started. Reckons they'll get infraction notices.

Watson said the saga could drag on for another 2-3 years.

given we are playing the welfare on sunday i think it will be an impossible ask.

edit: beaten to the punch.

will be interesting to see what affect this will have on the playing group.

Faced with the possibility that Roos will have the Demons playing kick to kick in the backline (hoping to get a free kick) and Essendope won't even turn up for the game, it may end up a nil all draw.

Does this mean that James Hird won't return as coach again ever?

The bloody Bomber supporters I know still don't think he did anything wrong, they just blame it all on Dank and Dean Robinson.

You'd find Jihadists more rational than that lot.

Reimers certainly won't be towing the line of the party faithful. He will spill spill spill out of anger and rejection. Crameri, Gumbleton, Monfries.. all have nothing owing to the Bummers.
