Essendon have selected Jok in the Rookie Draft.

We've rookie listed Broomhead (#17) and Murray (#33).

With the departure of McLarty and Hore there will be a couple of spots to break in a defender or two

After that we had:
42 (395)
44 (362)
54 (220)
56 (194)
57 (182)
Total 1353 (+93 points).

When Nick Blakey bid was matched at 10, SYD lost picks 34, 39 and 40 and gained picks 47 and 97.

After that we had:
40 (429)
42 (395)
53 (233)
55 (207)
56 (194)
Total 1458 (+105 points).

When Isaac Quaynor bid was matched at 13, COL lost picks 40, 42 and 53 and gained picks 64 and 95.

After that we had:
55 (207)

64 (101)
Total 502 points.

By the time Will Kelly was bid on at 29 these picks were:
53 (233)

64 (101)
Total 554 (+52 points).

When Will Kelly bid was matched at 29, COL lost picks 53, 54 and 64 and gained picks 63 and 99.

What happened to Jok? Marsh?

(Oh, I've just seen Jezza's post above re. Jok. What a bummer.)

Depends when.

There's some new deal where you can pick up someone who's previously nominated for the draft, for free, between 1 December and some time in March.

GWS is going to get Mumford this way and a few other delisted players have not nominated for this years draft as they look like being picked up the same way.

Is it really that late? That would be good for us.

Well done MM best explanation I have seen - so many people clearly were confused. Has also been a bit unclear about upgrading of rookies to main list. Will be interesting to see if we include Bailey Wraith as cat B.
