Make your mind up son, on forum he doesn't exist, on this forum you want his assistance.

Lol either way, here, I certainly need it! Laughing Wink

RR, I wonder about that too. We've got to remember, though, that they're not actually permitted to criticise the AFL administration publicly. I suspect there's some amount of grumbling in the changerooms and at AFLPA meetings, but it's just conjecture really. I honestly have no idea.

Mr Smith, Lol.

SZ, footballers have a uniform. It sometimes has black and white stripes or some other colour combination on it, and is usually accompanied by a pair of shorts, long socks and footy boots. Another uniform is a kind of polo shirt with tracksuit pants. You can tell it's their uniform because it's what they wear to show that they're representing their club.

Missed my point entirely david. Their face / recognisable features become an extension of their uniform and thus they begin to represent their club 24/7 even when not wearing a uniform ie they become more high profile. . I thought it was an obvious point I was making......sorry.

Lets end this anyway and agree to disagree. I'd still have a beer with David and watch the footy at the end of day. We're all piemen and the love of black and white bonds us tighter than interesting arguments.

Honestly, I don't think the majority of people give a flaming crap what's in a players contract.

Key words 'it doesn't affect them'.

To be honest, David, I think you're in the minority here.

I think the majority of people agree that the media constantly looking at the players is a bad thing and if one farts it's in the news, but I honestly do believe only a minority of people really care what restrictions are in their contract or what it says.

Yep and we all love reading about their indiscretions in the paper, ( funny, offense only taken if its a black and white player!)

Sorry!

I love a scandal if it's not Collingwood!

Can't be the only one, or not a magazine in the country would survive!

True, although I often wonder if a lot of people just read/watch/listen to whatever's around and don't actually care about the content. I mean, do that many people really go out of their way to listen to Kyle and Jackie O?

We need a few more rough diamonds within our playing group anyway.

While I don't condone violence it's good to know we may have a small defender who'll make life hell for the small forwards/midfielders of the game and not take a step backwards in the heat of the moment.

yes, king hitting people from behind shows courage!

Neither can I, TP. But somewhere out there in Sydney, tens of thousands can and do. I can't understand if they're all morons themselves, or simply don't care about what they're listening to. I tend to presume the latter.

Fat Bet

Since Fat Bets creation in April 2010, three seasons of this popular weight-loss competition have taken place.

A group of overweight listeners are picked and given a target weight which they are to achieve over an eight-week period. If they fail, their unflattering fat photographs (taken in their underwear) are put on a major Sydney billboard. Although Fat Bet sounds harsh, contestants claim that fear of humiliation motivated them to lose weight.

Oh, that's ok then. Rolling Eyes
