There's a few players who could take note of the way Wittsy has handled the entire process. Hasn't waivered in his commitment to the club at any stage throughout 2016, has let the process play out, and departed in the classiest possible way.
Good luck to the kid, hope he reaches the heights I think he is capable of, shame it won't be at the Pies. |

Good luck, but what a huge disappointment, played only one game where he looked like being anything.
The Hawthorn game last year ( I think ) _________________ Godfather of Syn |

The pre-season game against Geelong he absolutely monstered the leaping pussy rucks and palmed the ball beautifully to our mids. I thought he was destined to assume the mantle as our number one ruckman. He then put in an insipid display in the opening game against the Swans, then injured his finger and spent the remainder of the year looking very ordinary indeed in the VFL. |

Yes. I sat in the "premiership stadium" at Geelong and watched centre clearance after centre clearance as he put the ball down De Goey's throat and thought that something exciting might happen in 2016. Unhappily, it was all downhill from there for the big lad. |

I wasn't impressed with his body language in that match as he was simply going through the motions.
It was evident during that game that his time was up here. _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023 | |

Boy is going to be a gun, sadly just not for us.
Never going to be a mumford style physical beast, but will be a gun _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

Yep, didn't have a great game but I reckon there were likely another dozen players equally off their game or even worse. Hardly counters his body of work over the season. |
