Went to vic park saturday and thought he was good again.
Had 2 very good weeks in a row as I thought he was very good against Melbourne 2nds as well (casey?)
He covers his man, tries to run off and be an option and is a leader.
The thing that stood out to me was moore and marsh always talking. .. giving instruction... at 1 stage a goal was kicked and marsh screamed at each defender to come in so they could regroup. .. loved it.
As far as being a mid option... id say thats a fair way off but a reliable defender at afl level... may be close

I also saw him on Saturday and the weekend before that. He reads the play nicely, positions himself where he can cut off the angles and rarely get's beaten in the air because of his closing speed.
My initial thought was when he was first moved down back was that it would just be for development and one day he would move to his more natural forward role. However, he has been so good in defence the last 12 or so months that he might have found a permanent position down there.
His kicking has improved since last year. Seems to have more balance when kicking on the run which was encouraging to see.

Yep, agree with all of that, coming along nicely. A couple of solid VFL games and he'll be pushing for selection. Still haven't ruled out a posible forward role and longer term even a spot on a wing if the tank builds.

He could be a seriously good footballer
if
1. he gets his kicking organized.
2. he remains injury free
3. he develops to his potential.
What is the chance of these 3 points going right?

3 will come with 2, and 1 is happening, going on evidence so far.

He is not an elite kick but he is more than adequate in his kicking. .
