I think the rot has well and truly set in, I'm tipping we get flogged.

Absolutely!

Clearly the AFL has decided it will EQUALISE Collingwood's earning capacity in relation to other clubs by giving us so many late Sunday games.

I have already given the AFL the arse and won't be going to any live games any time soon. This time slot is so bad I might not even watch on TV.

The Crows will win anyway, so what's the point?

Can't wait for the A-League to start again. Very Happy

Oh, and as far as selection is concerned the only changes will be for injury. You can put your house on Blair being picked again. That's just one more reason why the Collingwood brains trust has NFI! Rolling Eyes

^ Spot on. What is it with these disgraceful keep-everyone-away timeslots?

Well I'll be there, and so will junior.

I'm guessing next year will be different, re scheduling, because it's costing the AFL big bikkies, as long as they don't blame the poor showing on our slide down the ladder, and those dreaded hay bale prickles.

Rohan Connolly mocked Eddie over his demand for compensation for the Carlton game, saying that the Pies get a good run with time slots and wouldn't know what a real burial slot looks like.

That may have been true of previous years, but not this. The AFL seem to have put us into every "experimental" time slot imaginable to see if it'll fly. Well, as Eddie said you can rely on Pies fans to turn up, but push them too far and the numbers will fall.

Surely to God the time is now for Martin to get his opportunity with Broomhead to return also.

May as well take a chance with Reid and Fas as well if they have strong training form over the next two weeks.

With the Top 8 Spot on there Line then you might as well take the Chance with Fas and Reid. Might was get Injured in the AFL then the VFL if they are going to get Injured

I reckon we need to bite the bullet now and go for broke with six changes - given the current team has performed so dismally over the past 4-5 weeks. It's now or never.

Ins: Keeffe, Broomhead, Martin, Reid, Elliott, Fasolo

Outs: Maxy, Young, Ball, Blair, Swan, Thomas

And ffs, play Adams in the guts.

Thought Thomas played his best game for a while Sunday, certainly seemed to have a greater impact than Swanny. Maybe it's time to give Swanny some extended time off or schedule some surgery.

Well that's a load of rot.

May well get beaten but need to keep moving forward without all the pesimistic doom and gloom!

I'd actually edited my post and suggested resting Swanny as well. I wasn't at last week's game, but watching it on TV, Thomas seemed to have little impact. He's probably a borderline player at present, but happy to keep him in if he's doing his job.

Thomas was disappointing because I expect so much more from him, but with the overall shiteness of the whole team, it's hard to get a true reading of where he's at. Swanny was worse because when he got the ball he generally burnt it. Been that way for a few weeks now. He's obviously sore so rest him.
