VFL game tomorrow will be full of interest given there could be up to 2 changes to cover the injured Young and Fasolo if they don't get up. |

We may have had a tough start to the year but we've been fortunate with longer breaks between games than our opponent. We'll get a good look at them tonight and head into the game with great belief and almost a full list to choose from. Anyone carrying something from yesterday's bruising encounter is likely to have a suitable replacement playing in the VFL today. We are primed. Too early to predict changes but one thing I'm certain of is, if Reid is fit, he comes straight back in. We'll win, how far depends on what unfolds this afternoon and evening. _________________ Formally frankiboy and FrankieGoesToCollingwood. |

the margin was irrelevant. first quarter aside, they looked second rate. we were never going to lose once we gained the ascendancy. _________________ Purveyor of sanctimonious twaddle. |

Not me
They are far bigger cheats than the scum, and I'll never forget walking out the ground last year to their supporters bullshit. Happily, we didn't need to give it back, they were gone, they knew it.

In successive weeks we have made two good sides look very ordinary. Just look to what North did last night to realise they are not as bad as they looked last week. I know most don't want to say it, but it's because we're back to 2010-2011 levels of intensity and pressure.
Now what we need to do is put it all together and make an ordinary side look like an absolute rabble. Next week would be a great time to start. _________________ Well done boys! |

What game were you watching?
Essendon had multiple chances in the last quarter to get back within a goal.
Thankfully they didn't take them because they were looking ominous and were running out the game better it appeared (thanks in part for us being one down on the bench).
Despite our dominance for large parts after quarter time the margin in the end felt closer than 23 points to me. _________________ He's mad. He's bad. He's MaynHARD! |

Everyone sees it differently I guess. For mine, 3 goals to 12 after the 7th minute of the 2nd quarter said it all. It felt to me like we absolutely smashed them. |

Can't see Martin playing. Excellent VFL player, backup to the AFL.
Adams is no certainty either. We are clearly only playing one of Ball, Thomas or Adams in our starting 21. The chances of all three of them being in our 22 is remote. That means to get Adams in you have to drop Ball or Thomas, and one of the two remaining would still have to be the sub.
And Sidebottom suspended? WTH is that about?
Young and Fas will likely be missing though. _________________ Well done boys! |

Bucks said on the ABC that Fas will likely miss a week. Young more likely to get up given it's a corkie.
Bucks also said the club has been veery conservative with all the players rehabbing from injury, they've given them a pseudo preseason before they get a VFL opportunity.
Dave, Martin can't play till he's promoted. Probably BOG in the VFL but doesn't matter. Dwyer probably the next most influential. Broomhead and Williams both did some nice things but will need more time at VFL level. |
