I agree with Northern Pie, On sen Balmey said Rocca was fine, this bloke should be a politician, Why didn't they give him a couple of weeks off to get over it, that decision has cost us dearly

A survey of the players (all of them, not just collingwood) said vic park had the 2nd best surface to play on, artic park being #1.

Can't believe it. Another one, and just when he may have had an oppotunity early in the season. Good luck Brades, wishing you a speedy recovory.

ANd now CQ, both of them are gone. The MCG surface isn't what it used to be.

surface/schmurface - players do ankles at training all the time. The whole Vic Park / VFL park topic makes for good conversation but its gone and until someone who would know, comes out and says there is a problem with the Lexus Oval surface I'll assume its OK. I'd be more concerned if we had Telstra Dome as a home ground.

What I find ironic/funny/not surprising really is that a guy who has not played a senior game and is not even close by all reports is the lead story on the Channel 9 news sports bit and takes half a page in the Herald Sun.

Must be a Collingwood player.........

I bet ya it turns out that we have moved to a dud oval. At the risk of being pessimistic, we need everything to go right for us, on the track, and it just has been disasterous.

I played on Vic park for nicks (while the pies still used it) and if that is the 2nd best surface, I'd hate to see the worst. It was shocking, Tyabb football club (my home town, a small town on the mornington peninsula) has a better surface.
