Doubt that they will get a start today, it is bucketing down today in Melbourne. Warney will have to wait for the ING game v Tassie on Friday. _________________ Ohhhh the premierships a cakewalk for the good old COLLINGWOOD |

The ING game ?
How do you fit him in ? It's a bit much to expect a bowler who hasn't bowled in a match for a year to walk straight into such an important fixture. _________________ Donny.

I would almost put anything on Warney playing in the ING game, they'll do anything to get him match practice. _________________ Ohhhh the premierships a cakewalk for the good old COLLINGWOOD |

The Queensland Academy of Sport is chasing 306 for victory on the final day of the Cricket Australia Cup clash with the Victorian Second XI at the Junction Oval. At tea and with at least 43 overs remaining, it is 1-44.
They lost Ryan Broad for nought with the score on six, but skipper Aaron Nye and first-innings century maker Chris Simpson have been relatively untroubled by the bowling to tea.
After 15 overs of bowling, Victorian Second XI skipper Peter Roach is yet to use leg-spinner Shane Warne.
In 20 minutes of batting, the visitors added a further 49 runs to their overnight total of 4-217 before declaring at 5-266. Warne didn’t get a bowl in the first-innings either, leaving his figures at 16-4-32-2.
The home side then put on a quick 192 runs for the loss of four wickets, setting up an interesting run chase in glorious late-afternoon sunshine.
Aiden Blizzard plundered an unbeaten 101 runs off as many deliveries and Graeme Rummans scored 69. At the close, Warne was not out nought. _________________ Ohhhh the premierships a cakewalk for the good old COLLINGWOOD |
