We ended up having to stand at the back of the Olympic stand while the Great Southern Stand reserve seats were half empty. Disgraceful. |
I was in the GSS and it looked extremely full to me, I'm not sure where you were looking. They should've opened the MCC. |

What will the AFL do if the capacity is not 70,000? |

I was looking across from the Olympic stand, so I had a very good view. We actually went all the way up to GSS when we first went into the ground but were told by the staff that there were no seats left and we had better go somewhere else. Yes, they should've opened up the MCC but since when do the MCG staff do anything for us normal, non-VIP partrons?
It just makes me so angry when there are hordes of people standing at the back of the Olympic stand (and to make it worse, got told off for "being in the way"), and not to mention the people who were locked out, while there were empty seats all around the ground. |

This should have been a ticketed game as the match against Essendon is. For the AFL and MCG to think that no more than 55,000 would attend was a joke. |
