It wouldn't surprise me if he's still lurking around here somewhere, just waiting for his chance to re-appear. _________________ Ðavâgé

Obviously restricted but can still set up like no other.. let the howls of protest begin starting with the despised term 'Quarterback role' _________________ We will feast on their bones |

His clearance work is enough to justify his position in the middle. Who do you propose replaces him in the midfield? |

Yeah it's a pity we don't have any other midfield stars.. we have to do something, it straight sets the way we are playing
Big moves can sometimes turn it around ala Jarman to FF when the Cows lost Modra.. can't just go in the way we have been or it's death _________________ We will feast on their bones |

I agree we have to throw some curveballs, but i think pendles is too important in the middle. Plus i thought maxy was the 3rd man unaccountable player down back! (jokes people, i love maxy) _________________ Tear the roof off tha sucker!!! |

With due respect, anybody who would consider putting Pendles in the back line must be on drugs. Forward at time throughout the game - most certainly, but putting him back for long periods of time would be counterproductive. He certainly hsa not been in best form since breaking his leg (who would be) but he still much better than most. What we are missing in the middle is Ball and his hard ball gets. _________________ Now Retired - Every Day Is A Saturday |

I don't think that had too much to do with it
At the moment he's just a good ordinary player as Jack Dyer would say, but down back his disposal would create something very difficult to stop and wouldn't be as demanding on his body

I hope you are not being serious (hence the roll eyes). I like Blair, but he isn't in the same league. |

Actually, he is. It's called "the Australian Football League" and it plays in Melbourne. (Also in some other cities around Australia.) Matches are held several times a week during the season. They are rather good. You should go to one. _________________ Let's eat Grandma. Commas save lives! |

Won't happen, he might not be in the best of nicks but he's still our main contested ball winner in the guts in the absence of Bally. The area we sadly lacked in this year. |

If he has 40 pass attempts like a QB, that's 40 free kicks paid against him for a throw in our back half. That's just stupid. _________________ Fighting against the objectification of woman. |
