I like all our draft choices - but they'll take a couple of years to come on. If we draft Campo in the PSD, then it means that MM thinks we're a chance for the flag in the next 2 years. If so, then we should go for it.

Ellis WILL come back and bite the Collingwood FC right on the ar*e in 2 years time mark my words. I watched this team play all year Dale Thomas is a midfielder he played midfield all year, Pendlebury the same, both good players but neither are in Ellis's class. I would have picked Pendlebury before Thomas, in saying that these are two good pick ups but in 2-3 years time when Ellis is the next Dal Santo of the league we WILL all be crying. I cant believe we didn't pick Ellis UNBELIEVABLE.

Well You were wrong

Badly wrong. Ellis has shown nothing and Daisy is a class act who will be our next superstar at the pies.

its funny because that 'x factor' that MM spoke about has whats got him to where he is and made it that little bit easier for him to make that transition.

It was an inspired pick by Hine and by gee arnt we loving it!

Thomas has proven the right choice...but we all knew Ellis was going to take some time. This is his year really, his 3rd...to start cementing his spot. I have a feeling Ellis will be a great player...but Thomas will always be more effective.

Too early to comment on Ellis. Even when he was drafted we all said that you could write him off for the first 2 years.

The great news is that we've got finals footy into Dale at such a young age, and his development has been fast tracked.

Oh for shame RBFP!

Still hindsight is a wonderful thing. Ellis may still turn out trumps, but for my mind, we have excelled with these two guns!
