Doesn't matter if sides lose money, the AFL can prop em up with our money, again, I really don't know why we bother being successful off ground. |

everywhere but the club's pockets. how on earth do you get solid crowds each week and still lose out? imagine if port only managed to attract their aami stadium crowds.
i don't understand how clubs sign off on bad stadium deals like this and at etihad. is it bad negotiating on their part? are the clubs not in a position of power at the negotiation table? no doubt there are layers of complexity the average punter would not understand or be aware of. _________________ Purveyor of sanctimonious twaddle. |

What power do the clubs hold in bargaining for a better deal with the stadium and SANFL? Where else could they play? SANFL still owns West Lakes and there is no other ground in SA fit for AFL. |

I would imagine the SA Premier, who is a Port supporter, would be the best person to pressure the SANFL for a better deal for the clubs. |

Port also claim that we keep the VFL records so we should keep their SANFL records too.
Going by that logic, we should keep the VFA records.
Apparently the stadium deal at Adelaide Oval isn't as good as people thought. Adelaide should face a loss too.
The AFL I think are to get involved to sort it out. It's a shame really, great oval that should help the clubs, instead drive them back into debt. |
