Oh, and Ryder just happened to visit SA today for a chin wag with Kochy & co.
Suddenly Brisbane doesn't look like the place to be... |

Ah. perhaps i should have added "the place to be chasing premiership glory".
We can look forward to a few years of bottom four arm wrestling with the Bears now. Livin' the Dream.

True dat JW.
Thing is, we know the wheel always turns, both in life in general, and most certainly in sport. Such is the cycle of life, death, taxes, and the f*cking AFL draft.
But the wheel is not only turning against us right now, and after today, it is taking the deadset piss now...

Ah... that's what happens when you leave Melbourne in 2005 to live in Queesland. You lose contact with the real world. Until now, I wouldn't know what that thing was if literally fell on me! And evidently, that may have been a chance to happen?!

Eddie was talking about this the other day. He says that from all reports the people running he club are astute but it is the stadium deal that is the issue. They had a great year this season and for them to incur this type of loss is a real concern. At the end of the day the more teams that stand stand up financially the better and the less the AFL will dip into our profits to prop thyem up. |
