Come and join the Putney Magpies BARFL team

It is that time again. A time when the Putney Magpies start a new season in the BARFL.

This Saturday the 16th of April sees the ANZAC cup (I know a week early but its all about the sponsorship Laughing ). This is at Clapham Common in London from about 11.30am and with 10 teams in the cup it should be a good day.

The season proper starts on the 7th of May and will include a trip for the best EU players to Melbourne for the International Cup in August playing for the British Bulldogs.

For those of you that have been to the hamlet of London we are sponsored this season by that great Sunday afternoon venue the Church (www.thechurch.co.uk) and a pub chain called the Camel.

We have a stronger squad this year and should do well.
