Yes. 52 is young. But he smoked all his adult life. So that may have something to do with it.

Read a comment today, Warnie packed more into 52 years than most could in 100. RIP Legend.

Former Japanese Prime Minister, Shinzo Abe has been assassinated.

Very sad day for the people of Japan, and a close friend and ally to Australia.

RIP.

A magnificent voice. I can't believe it has been silenced.

Here she is giving Paul Simon's career its kick-start:

And some other magnificent songs:

The one mothers have been singing to their children for nearly 6 decades: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M-RkC6MYT2E

Finally, if I may, my three personal favourites - some of the best backing singing ever recorded by an Australian - her ability to find a perfect harmony line and hit it like a bell was always jaw-dropping and still gives me shivers: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YR1zvvysdB8 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4NZFoa4onB4

That’s so sad, I loved her mushy songs, her wholesome outlook, and Shefought so hard for so long. Did so much with her Celebrity to help others,

RIP Olivia xxxxx

She was awesome, will never forget our school class outing to see Grease in grade 6. I think every boy in our class fell in love with her that day.

RIP Olivia Sad

This is terrible news.Olivia Newton John was one of my idols when I was growing up.A beautiful voice,a great talent, and an even better human being.Such a tragic loss for the world. They always take the good ones first,it seems.

Rest In Peace,Olivia.❤️❤️❤️

Vale. Never liked her music much but she did good work for breast cancer awareness. Her brother was a fine medical doctor and was very good to a close friend of mine many years ago.

It's already happened stui with the recent passing of Archie Roach. He may not have occupied the world stage like Judith and Olivia, but he did such a lot for his people, by writing the most poignant song ever about the stolen generation.
It's awfully sad about Olivia. In a fair world, she would've had many more years to see the results of her massive contribution to help cancer sufferers Crying or Very sad Rest in Paradise, Olivia.

Some of her albums were brilliant. As an interesting aside, I know she must've turned heads in Korea back in the day because she was often the first thing dozens of older Korean blokes mentioned when they found out I was an Aussie!

Very sad.
