And of course, you saying that makes it true does it?
How ridiculous. IMHO of course. |

I think the article is worth reading and gives a perspective that gets lost in the desire to have a go at Bucks no matter what.

That's pretty incredible. As the author says, to go from a skinny kid to that is fairly damn impressive.
A Bulldogs supporter on BF summed him up as a champion player, champion coach and champion bloke. That's how I'll always view him. What a privilege it's been to see him grow into a Collingwood legend. |
Strange it is that many Opposition fans admire him, and wish him well, ive heard them, dogs, saiints, cats, eagles even, call him a legend. As distinct to a few childish idiots on here who diss him and denigrate his service, how ironic that is. But to be expected, unfortunately. Thats a great article, too, very perceptive and well written. _________________ Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor, but because we cannot satisfy the rich.

Clarkson referred to him the other night .... adding to another observation on his resignation... “and a ripper bloke”. _________________ Woodsman forever |

And if Darling hadn’t dropped that Mark?
And if Langdon hadn’t given that goal up?
And if Mayne hadn’t fumbled in crunch time?
And if what was it, a 5 goal lead hadn’t been lost?
There are so many what if’s in a game. None of them matter now. We lost. _________________ I’ve tried to be fair to you creatures, but now my patience has reached its end. |

truth.
where as I still think its time for a change, not many Collingwood things make me sadder, hes a legend, always will be, i would have just about killed to see him hold that $$%^%%$ cursed cup up, player, or coach.
it will be a while before he coaches elsewhere, if ever. and by the way the 5 year thing is bullshit, he would have stayed 10!
For me, he left with his dignity and humour intact, and as much as it will always be a thorn, as with the poor Melb dude who walked in front of the mark and cost the Dees a grand final, He gets it, he knows football, indeed any career is secondary to his family. for the record he didnt cheat.
i have three or four pics of bucks and my kids at training, signed, and at bux request, i sent him a pic of him signing a picture some dude painted for his son, he sent me a hand written signed thankyou note that i still have. I will be forever grateful for watching him play, i remember crying buckets the day they announced he was done, hubby didnt want me to drive the girls to royal park for their state league games because i was crying so hard. i have absolutely no doubt he left nothing on the track, as a player, or a coach. And i wish him every success.
thanks for the memories Bux, cant wait to see what he does next. _________________ You cant fix stupid, turns out you cant quarantine it either! |

And the last truth of them all - Both Eddie and Nathan subconsciously betrayed the club when they arrogantly put their own personal needs ahead of it. _________________ All Aboard!! Choo Choo!!! |

And wouldn't it be good if we could set all the bickering to one side for a moment and celebrate the champ. For Buckley is a champ and has given his all for Collingwood - where is the sticky?
Whatever our thoughts on his coaching, and I'm more positive than others lets celebrate a career that is almost unmatched in the history of the club. |

Surely you understand that individual posters saying "I WAS RIGHT ALL ALONG" is more important? _________________ https://forever.collingwoodfc.com.au/sav-sinks-the-dockers/ |
