Tall flat white with an extra shot from Starbucks.

Hah, I've cut down my coffee intake.

Get up, turn on the drip filter machine. 1 cup out of that to get the brain and bowels in motion, then go for a walk.

Some mornings I'll have a second cup with Breakfast, other mornings I leave it for the old girl and make a cup of tea instead.

Ive never really been a coffee drinker. Will sometimes grab a $1 7/11 latte if Im tired and struggling to concentrate at work, but its not something I drink routinely or for pleasure.

Funny to look back on old posts and see how much things have changed.

Nowadays, I drink $1 coffees from Coles Express.

Thanks to your post I gave the Coles Express coffee a go and unlike the 7/11 coffee it was drinkable. I'm going to save a fortune going there instead of Starbucks or cafes. Cheers.

^ It’s pretty good, isn’t it? Honestly, I’ve had worse café-made coffees and none that were exactly spectacularly better.

Always have a cappuccino every morning. Can't live without one these days.

Seriously? The Coles Express coffee is absolutely on par with 7/11.

Both quite good but not hot enough

Maybe the last 7/11 coffee I had was a bad one.

I’m still a tea drinker in the mornings and evenings but when the pandemic stuff and restrictions started Mrs WPT & I bought a Breville automatic coffee maker, the Breville Express: it’s great and makes a terrific coffee. We get our beans from Coffee Warehouse in Leveson Street North Melbourne. Gotta say, tge coffee we make us a lot better than we buy most of the time.

The idea is we will save $ over time too.

However, I’ve been drinking far too much coffee and need to drink more Chinese tea and Green tea 🍵
