Now I think back, I doubt my parents could have afforded it, mum had just got a loan to buy a milk bar and dad drank most of his pay and dealt with debt collectors with his shotguns and dogs.
I reckon my Grandfather bought it. He had a little coin and I was the one to take his family name onward as the only grandchild that carried his name. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

I was never allowed one. My older brother got hit by a drunk (Son of wealthy well known national business owner) and at 14 was hit by a car hitting by brother at night after he left school at night in winter.
..........
I had a scooter which was infinitely more dangerous. _________________ “I even went as far as becoming a Southern Baptist until I realised they didn’t keep ‘em under long enough” Kinky Friedman |

We always had bikes, live in a court so plenty of space to ride and a couple of streets away from the creek trail. When we went away always took the bike so I could ride around. Every bike I ever had cane from the same bike shop and it’s still there today! |

The primary school was about 1km, I had to get myself there as mum and dad left for work earlier. My grandparents lived across the road from the school so no wagging for me either and lunch with them every day. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

^ Dickheads will be dickheads.
Today I rang up the work IT department as I couldn't get email on the pos iPhone I was given. Explained the issue, the IT guy asked for a minute, took 90 seconds, and fixed it remotely. I just gave this guy my name, that was it. I didn't have to do anything on the phone to give him permission, he just fixed it.
Told me to wait an hour then do the old turn off and turn on again, and it worked. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

Didn't go for a walk this morning, had a day off.
Been busy on video meetings all day, I just checked the step counter on my phone.
I've covered a grand total of 800 steps so far today. That's basically walking from my desk to the kitchen and back to top up water. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

While I wasn't working I was doing 20,000 a day.
Clearly if I'm going to be pinned to a desk I need to make use of time to get the exercise in. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

It's a shocker of a story. But the elephant in the room here is: how can our prison system be so inhumane that anyone could be treated like this, guilty or innocent? It's not the $#%^ing dark ages. Reform is needed urgently. _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |
