I'd rather Cripps or Petracca by a country mile... |
Doubt either would leave there clubs.
No way Cripps play For us |
I suspect Cripps will be pie in the sky, but Petracca on the other hand was a huge pies fan growing up...
As for Cam comment on Bonts, he'd be great as well but I suspect he'll be pretty hard to pry away from the Dogs _________________ All Aboard!! Choo Choo!!! |

Maybe but it certainly doesn't hurt... and depending on how both we and the demons go over the next few years, that, money, 'team' potential and the people who lead the club will be the deciding factors.
(Also factor in a few things over the last few years in FA we could have been interested in i.e Lynch and Cameron both pies supporters growing up - so what stopped these guys seriously considering us - was it money? or was it the people running our club? ask yourself?) _________________ All Aboard!! ^Didn't they sell the Geelong lifestyle to Cameron? As for Lynch maybe you're not giving Richmond enough credit. _________________ The beatings will continue until moral improves. |

I tend to agree with this statement - once a kid is drafted, footy becomes something of a job and it becomes business. The kids make connections within the club with other players and staff and the lure of playing for the team they supported diminishes.
Having said that, my eldest was offered a spot with the Brisbane Lions academy and was torn about accepting, even asking me if I'd still love him if he played for Brisbane. I told him of course I would, and he could always see out his initial contract and request a trade to Collingwood. |

Heard rumours previously that the club is interested in Petracca.
Don't think he's a free agent though. _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023 | |

Free agents that are $600,000 and are potentially top 5-7 players in your side are fine but to spend $800,00+ and on long-term deals you have to go after match winners _________________ I love the Pies, hate Carlscum |

Petracca’s recently signed a contract and as a lawyer you’ll know how binding they are 😉 in the AFL environment _________________ “I even went as far as becoming a Southern Baptist until I realised they didn’t keep ‘em under long enough” Kinky Friedman |

So can anyone in the know actually make a list of who is going to be a free agent (limited or otherwise) at the end of next season? _________________ All Aboard!! Choo Choo!!! |

You can go to footy wire and select free agents and the year and it brings up both restricted and un restricted free agents.
That should get you started. And if someone wants to cut and paste onto here, then all the better. |
