There was no one there that day. All the shots came from that building.

Hell, that is one very disgusting reference, K. Not funny.

John F Kennedy would be listed as a mild concussion and a chance to return if he was on our injury list.

"The injury list: Another year of horror Magpies injuries, but there's some light. Chris Mayne (cheek) is expected to be available, as is Will Kelly (elbow), Trey Ruscoe (hip) and Brayden Sier (quad). However, Jeremy Howe (knee) is done for the season, Steele Sidebottom - not injured but a new father - won't return to the hub and Tom Langdon (knee) is at a career crossroads. Getting Jordan De Goey and Adam Treloar back from long-term injuries for the last two rounds was a blessing."

The AFL website has updated their list today: Updated: Tuesday, September 29.

COLLINGWOOD
Brayden Sier - Quad (Test)
Trey Ruscoe - Hip (Test)
Chris Mayne - Cheekbone (Test)
Will Kelly - Elbow (1 week)
Tom Phillips - Hamstring (1-2 weeks)
Flynn Appleby - Hamstring (2-3 weeks)

They forgot:
Nathan Murphy (1-2 Weeks)

Will not return this year:
Dayne Beams - Mental health (Indefinite)
Jeremy Howe - Knee (Season)
Tom Langdon - Knee (Indefinite)
Steele Sidebottom - Personal (Season)
Ben Reid - (Retired)

Quote:
Collingwood is hopeful Mayne will return from a nasty fractured cheekbone for Saturday night's elimination final against West Coast. However, the likes of Kelly and Phillips are a bit further behind and would be unlikely to play. Expect both Ruscoe and Sier to undergo fitness tests, but Ben Reid won't play after retiring last week. The club has officially put a line through Howe's chances of returning this year due to a knee injury. Riley Beveridge

An update on West Coast:

Quote:
McGovern is firming to play on Saturday night in a game that will fall 23 days after the hamstring strain he suffered in round 17. The Eagles are yet to officially give him the green light, but all signs are pointing to him playing. Kennedy enjoyed a light week on the track last week but is expected to play off an ankle injury sustained in the final game of the home and away season. Luke Shuey said he would've been fit to play without the pre-finals bye, while Redden, Jetta and Hutchings are likely to be fit. Jamie Cripps is cherry ripe, having missed the last four games of the season to be in Perth with his pregnant partner who has since given birth. - Mitch Cleary

We got through without any concerns. Interestingly, the club shared another photo of Langdon at training or playing in a practice game in Qld. Club and AFL injury review to come in the next day or 2.

Current injury list:
Tom Phillips - Hamstring (Up to 2 weeks)
Nathan Murphy (Up to 2 weeks)
Flynn Appleby - Hamstring (Up to 3 weeks)

Will not return this year:
Jeremy Howe - Knee
Tom Langdon - Knee
Steele Sidebottom - Personal
Ben Reid (Retired)
Dayne Beams - Mental health

The AFL website has updated their list today: Updated: Tuesday, October 6.

COLLINGWOOD
Will Kelly - Elbow (Test)
Tom Phillips - Hamstring (Test)
Flynn Appleby - Hamstring (1-2 weeks)
Nathan Murphy - (1-2 Weeks)

Will not return this year:
Dayne Beams - Mental health (Indefinite)
Tom Langdon - Knee (Indefinite)
Jeremy Howe - Knee (Season)
Steele Sidebottom - Personal (Season)
Ben Reid - (Retired)

Quote:
Collingwood was bolstered after getting through an elimination final victory over West Coast unscathed on Saturday night. Phillips could put himself in the selection frame following a hamstring injury, while Kelly is returning from a long-term elbow problem. However, the Pies look settled and might not wish to make too many changes. Riley Beveridge

Kelly is able to play. I'm sure he was passed fit last week. Phillips was listed as up to 2 weeks last time, now he is listed as a test. I'd be shocked if he was selected to play Vs Geelong.

An update on Geelong:

Joel Selwood - Finger (Test)
Jack Steven - Hamstring (2-3 weeks)
Nakia Cockatoo - Wrist (Season)
Nathan Kreuger - Knee (Season)

Quote:
Selwood underwent surgery on Friday night to "stabilise" the middle finger on his left hand he dislocated in Thursday night's loss to Port Adelaide. The skipper trained lightly on Monday with his finger heavily protected and will need to clear a touch session on Friday in order to be picked. Steven succumbed to yet another soft tissue injury in Saturday's scratch match and it's hard to see him returning again this season should the Cats progress. Sam Simpson returned for his first game back since round 12 in the same game. - Mitch Cleary

https://www.afl.com.au/matches/injury-list

Geez, not many concerns there. All the attention will be on Selwood.

To end the season:

Will Kelly and Tom Phillips are both fit and would have been available for selection in the PF. Kelly was emergency Vs Geelong.

Flynn Appleby and Nathan Murphy would have been a test at best, but probably would have been unavailable for another week.

Adams (Wrist), Cox (Ribs/Mid section) left the ground for a short time, but played out the game. Both would have undergone tests and I think would have been ok to play had we made the PF.

Jeremy Howe will be available for round 1, 2021. He was close to being available during October, but had a set back which put him out for the season. He'll be able to have a full pre season once the players come back from their end of year break.

Steele Sidebottom will have a full pre season and be available for round 1. He's not injured as we know.

Dayne Beams will not return to footy. This is a sad story.

Tom Langdon is a big unknown. Many will expect him to call it a day. He gave it a crack and has been with the team all this time. This will be a sad story.

Ben Reid has retired.

The TRUTH?! You can't handle the Truth!

Yes, that was a nod to all the fans who flipped over after half time to watch "A Few Good Men" instead of Shitfesta 2020

Adams in an elbow brace. Big effort for him to play out the game with that pain. Dunno if it means surgery, probably just rest
