For mine it’s Tom lynch from richmond Tim Kelly now West Coast and out of either Nat Fyfe freo or Trent Cotchin will never happen but it’s good to dream a little. I feel we are a key forward and a couple of hard but on ballers who can read hit outs and clear effectively.

Post subject: my afl takeReply with quote

hi dom,

look i feel now that richmond is having its era it had to have to be honest to be honest they did jack shit for good part of 30 or more years since 1980 to be honest. Its their era now its currently 2017 and 2019 but probably add 2020 and maybe 2021 in thier too. It had to happen to all at the same time when the AFL comp is as even as.Look you can be an irrelevant joke for so long.

Collingwood though has had it. Look bucks and its footy dept would have won the flag by now saddly that time was in 2018. I feel now they are fizzling out. Like to see Collingwood to re structure their whole footy dept and develop an effective youth policy too. Like to see Eddie Mcguire to step down at years end and along with Bucks. Incoming Clarko for bucks and maybe Sally Capp for Eddie. To be honest ive had enough of the mediocrety of Collingwood and their stagneted sewer culture there and its been happening for years. Ill rather be re bulding then in the situation Collingwood is in. Seams to me success has given way to selfish attitudes. Also the Collingwood isnt a club nowadays and has lost its soul too and has become corrupt its eddie and bucks and his mates. They simply need a clean out. Needs to have a vision too.

I feel west coast are very well run outfit these days and i like brisbane too. Not sure gws though i feel they are been propped up by the afl too much and have not done the hard yards either.

Not sure about the rest of the teams i feel the rest are to be honest evenly matched and the Carltons and even Melbournes can be comptetive now and then too and look at the saints too.

Geelong its amazing has not missed finals since the 2005 season its 25 years finals for them if they make it in 2020.

Not sure next year but 2020 is down to 3 teams richmond west coast and brisbane. Port has a soft under belly and cant match it with these 3 and gws maybe too in this boat.

My final 8 in order

west coast
richmond
brisbane
port
saints
gws
geelong
bulldogs

top 4 are set the next 4 could be anyone.

ive got collingwood finishing in 10th/11th ala 2013-2017.

if collingwood get its shit together ive pencilled them in for a flag say 2022 or 2023.

Post subject: AFL golden boys pets and pestsReply with quote

Since 1991 the AFL Golden boys have been:

Early 1990's: West Cost
Late 1990's: North Melb
2000's: Brisbane (AFL Loved them)
2010's: Hawthorn
2017- present: Got to be Richmond

Other mentions:

Geelong,GWS, Crows and West Coast.

Prior to the AFL

1980's: Hawthorn and Carlton to a lesser degree Essendon too.

Also Sydney Swans feature highly too since becoming Sydney from South Melbourne.

Least of all ive got 2:

Collingwood easy been the AFL's pest since they won the flag in 1990 AFL hated it i know they did. AFL want us to fold its that simple. But they like the $ we generate though but still want us to fold.

St.Kilda just been unlucky still searching for their first flag since 1966.

Out of the interstate teams if any are:

Port if any they always seam to get a rough deal. Always living in the crows afl favoured shadow.

As said the AFL want Collingwood to fold.

Post subject: What the AFL wantedReply with quote

AFL did not want Collingwood to win 1990 they wanted a west coast v hawthorn gf and in 2010 a Geelong v stkilda gf. In 1990 west coast premiers and 2010 I feel Geelong was the AFL first pick or for nostalgia sake stkilda. AFL loved the 2002,2003,2011 and 2018 grand finals
2020 AFL want it to be a Richmond v west coast gf with a Richmond win

Grand Final teams will be:

richmond v geelong or
richmond v brisbane

Collingwood will be soundly beaten in perth v eagles to end the pies 2020 season. It gets us out of our misery.

Cats will out do port easy.

Saints should edge the dogs.

Port out in straight sets.

Prelim finals:

richmond v ?

geelong v ?

premier: richmond in an easy 1 sided grand final and win by 31 points

31 points would make it a close GF compared to what Richmond are used to recently.

Can't see Port losing in straight sets.

Dogs will beat the Saints.

31 points is a fair bit now that the quarters are only 16 mins.

It will be:

Richmond 84
Opponent 35

Richmonds qf final v brisbane will be 20 points.
Prelim a closeish 14 points

GF: say between the 30-45 point margin.

Post subject: 2021 finalsReply with quote

i know theres alot to go till then but this is my initial 2021 ladder prediction after the h and a games:

in order:

richmond
west coast
brisbane
st.kilda
gws
port
geelong

to fight out 8th spot

are bulldogs melbourne carlton freo, gold coast and maybe collingwood

wooden spoon ive got 2 teams to pick it up they are:

hawthorn (think it maybe hawk first wooden spoon in more then 40 years)and
north melbourne and possibly the
crows again

i feel gws will make a come back st.kilda will continue on their good 2020 and geelong may slip but still make finals.

Most improved is freo and gold coast.

Both Melbourne and Carlton are a chance to play in finals too if they can hang on and keep it together.

Again have richmond west coast the top 2 front runners for the flag and brisbane will back up its form into 2021.

Collingwood would not surprise me if they missed finals since 2017. Been a good run i guess but its time to freshen up a mini rebuild.

Put this one in a time capsule for in 11 months time.

Like to see the cats out in straight sets.
Cats and lions gf another boring gf.
Dees have to be in the gf v power or dogs or swans.
As long as cats are not in the gf.
Think we maybe due to that port v brisbane gf been brewing for 2 years now. Should have happened last year but both bombed out.
