It’s potentially a big call. There are over 15,000 registered voters who haven’t voted, if half of those have actually submitted postal votes that haven’t arrived, at the current rate of postal votes it would get pretty close!

Very different change in a day from the comfortable 3-4% swing to Labor Antony Green was claiming last night.

Now that Australia post only posts every second day or twice a week does this affect the counting?

I never saw Green state that but he was fluid as results were coming through: his consistent message I thought was (no surprise here ) a close result.
