Why the mods edit libellous comments

From time to time, it may appear the mods are overzealous in editing posts that relate to assumed facts that "everyone knows".

This is why we do that - and remember, we are protecting the poster as well.

True Phil, like if u want to really, really vent, go on Twitter, or utube, you can say nearly anything on there, and no bugger holds ur accountable, except of course racist or violent posts, inciteful posts. But aside from that, under an assumed name, u can vent about any damn thing, and get away with it, as i have, many times.
